Wednesday Wisdom: What do you HAVE TO DO today?

Ask yourself: “What do you HAVE to do today?” Your list may be one big thing or several smaller things but everything HAS to be done … right?

Well here’s a very interesting concept of having to do something vs. getting to do something. “Having to do” maybe mandatory in our minds but “getting to do” is actually a wonderful gift gained from just being alive. Negative People … they live among us

early morning double rainbow

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard you try: there’s a negative person out there just waiting to shoot down your opinions, blow your positivity to pieces, and/or infect you with their toxins. Their glass is either half-empty or non-existent. Their mood is gloomy and pessimistic. They never see the rainbow in the sky after the downpour. The end of the world is probably, for them, very near.

And having dealt with a lot of negative people in my life to date, this post resonated with me. If you are tired of dealing with the negative personas in your world too, then hopefully you will find some words of wisdom here as well. Let’s be positive rather than negative because together we can indeed make the world a better place – one sweet smile at a time. Here is an excerpt:

“Recognize and accept their toxicity
First and foremost, it is important to identify and accept that someone¬†we know is a negative person. This can be difficult, especially when¬†the person is someone¬†we care about. Either way, we must be careful not to allow their negativity to transfer onto us. We need to¬†accept that negativity is toxic and¬†will only breed more negativity. It is especially¬†important to avoid complainers. People who complain have given up hope that their actions can make any¬†difference. We must be careful not to enable complainers by always listening to their woes.”¬†Read more
