You have the power!

Are you brave or fearful? Let’s see then, because in today’s world you could be afraid of:

• Losing your job, your vehicle, your home or your loved ones
• Hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes or other natural disasters
• Your children becoming involved in drugs or social substance abuse
• Being shot at or killed by psychotic individual
• Not having enough money to live off of when you retire

There is no one on earth who is righteous

After a conversation with a friend, I wondered why it was hard for some of us Christians to show more humility when dealing with others.  Our interaction went something like this.

“You know he’s a homosexual right?”

Are you a hero or a coward?

This was the question after reading a great blog post by Walter Bright. Using the bible story of Esther, which he described as ‘reluctance meeting courage’ he encourages us to look at life from the same perspective i.e. are we reluctant to be courageous? Would we rather be cowards instead of heroes?
