Some Exciting & Amazing News!

Here’s a sneak peek into a project I’ve been working on for a while … but hold that thought for just a minute … did I ever get to mention I was co-writing a book with a group of extraordinary women? And that we’ll be launching the book out into the world very soon? Actually I didn’t; there was no time! As the big day gets closer and closer however, I’m excited and nervous all  at the same time, and I can’t wait for the official launch which is going to be HUGE!

So what’s this book about?

Titled “Success University for Women in Leadership” the book answers the big question: “How do I, as a woman, develop my leadership skills and still stay true to who I am?” Inside, my co-writers and I share our stories on how we’ve developed our personal leadership skills to in turn develop successful teams.

My chapter speaks specifically on some of the strategies learnt from having to work with as well as engage millennials but my Success Sisters have a lot more to share as we work together to better equip women in blazing a bright path along their own leadership journey. Pretty cool right?

Now that I’ve shared my exciting news, I’m inviting you to get ready. Mark the date of November 14, 2017 in your calendar and make sure you head on over to Amazon to get a copy of the Kindle version which will be available at a very special price of US$0.99 – because who doesn’t love a good deal? However I refuse to be a ‘party-pooper’ so if you just can’t wait or figure you won’t remember later on feel free to click on the pre-order link to ensure automatic delivery in two weeks 🙂

I will be sending out reminders from time to time over the next few days but in a world of chaos and confusion, natural disasters and man-made tragedies, isn’t this the best sneak-peek news ever? Am sure you will agree so don’t forget to leave me a hug comment if you can feel my excitement in having achieved a life-long dream aka ‘booyah’!

The Future is in the Harvest

The Future Always Comes

Kidney beans after one week

I planted some red kidney beans last week Sunday and only one week later, here we are! I’m excitedly looking forward to harvesting my own beans sometime in the future.

Tomato seedlings

I planted tomato seeds for a friend the same day I planted my beans. I was surprised to see these little plants appear after only five days beneath the soil. She is going to be just as excited about her future harvest as I will be about mine 🙂
