Remember this post about trying to Moving Towards a Better Life? My free book came in the mail! I’m so excited to get started!

I have just over seven days to go in the Better Life Challenge and if you can see past the advertising hype (which some people have commented on), it has been definitely worth it so far on a personal level.

I will share more thoughts with you after I’m done so look out for a post or two, but the things that have stood out so far would include a “Not To Do List” (who would have figured these work even better than the more conventional ones) and consciously removing negativity from your life (this includes situations, people and even walking away from toxic conversations).

It’s not like we don’t know most of this stuff already but I’m genuinely appreciating the out-of-the-box perspective, which, when you add it to the interesting life stories shared by others in the challenge’s FB group, can take life to a different level.

This evening I’m starting Chapter One; it’s going to be lit! Interested in taking part? Click here to sign up: Better Life Challenge – best of all it’s free and you get this 240 page book free too 🙂

Moving Towards a Better Life

I’ve been in a rut since forever. Noticed less posts and photos here? Yes, I’ve definitely been in a deep stagnant overwhelming rut for several long months but two weeks ago or so, I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and saw an ad for a free book; all I had to pay was shipping to Barbados.

How can a girl who loves freebies and books refuse such a combination?  So I signed up to get the book called “Millionaire Success Habits” by Dean Graziosi (because being a millionaire can’t be too bad either) and realised there was an additional offer of a free 30 day challenge while you waited to receive your book in the mail.  Hmmmm … more freeness … sounded good to me.

So I clicked on a few links and learnt that with the challenge, for 30 days, you get to think about a life theme and how it might be related to your life. I was sceptical to be honest and felt ‘been there and done that many many times’ but I started anyway.  Now I’m actually on Day 13 i.e. Week 2 and it’s been thought-provoking, interesting and yes, I’ve been slowly getting out of the rut.

In these few short days I have thought a lot about me – who I am and who I want to be – and wrote lots of notes in my journal. I’ve been able to reach out to others on the private FB group which supports the challenge as well, and all of this has reinforced that there are lots and lots and lots of different versions of us in the world – with dreams and challenges and deep deep ruts – but we all have one goal: to live life to the fullest, to be improved models of ourselves, and by extension to make this little planet on which we exist a much better place for everyone.

My plan is to make it to Day 30 and to share everything I’ve learnt with the FB group as well as here in this little blogging space but you’re invited in the meantime if you like freebies like me to pick up your FREE book and check out the challenge for yourself @ The Better Life Challenge ; hope it’s as worth it for you as it has been for me so far 🙂
