The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalm 121:7-8 (NIV)
Welcome to the Life is for Living Every Day blog, created to offer hope (especially on those days when life seems hopeless) and wrapped in the wonderful promises of God as we take a breather from life to come up for some much needed air.
Why am I glad to see you? Because some days can be a struggle. Even with the best laid plans things can go wrong. Your car might not start or you might have a flat tyre. Your kids can remember the lunch boxes they left on the kitchen table just as you drop them off to school. You may have lost a spouse or loved one to a terminal illness or terrible accident, or lost your job or your home to the current recession; worse yet, you might be a newly single parent trying to recover from divorce. Life happens and most of the time there is nothing we can do about certain situations which are out of our control.
But there is something we can do! We can keep the faith and not let the devil distract us or cause us to feel depressed or despondent. We can count our blessings – because there is always something and someone to thank God for. More importantly, there are always others we can bless in turn in spite of how little we may think we have to give. God’s word clearly shows His promises to be there for us no matter what. He will support us, guide us, forgive us and love us conditionally – day by day by day. Why not take Him at His word as we remember that our help comes from the Lord who has made heaven and earth? And let’s look at what we are told in I Corinthians 10:13 (NIV):
“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”
So we stand firm and walk this journey together. We will not worry about yesterday which has already passed or tomorrow which is yet to come. We will take life one moment at a time, one day at a time because the only time we have is the present and that’s the best time to walk this walk with our Father.
I invite you to come on in, look around, relax with a cup of coffee or tea and to simply breathe for a bit. You can even learn more about me at Blogger Bits but rest assured that I am truly very happy to have you here with me!

“Where I am today… I still have my ups and downs, but I take it one day at a time and I just hope that I can be the best that I can possibly be, not only for myself, but also young people that are out there today that need someone to look up to.”
