“Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Are you on a continuous quest for self improvement? I believe we all are! Who wants to remain exactly as they were 10 or 20 or 30 years ago, even last year? The goal is to be that little bit better today than we were the day before.
Admittedly sometimes that is easier said than done but there are many people out there who can help point us in the right direction. Take Richard Branson founder of Virgin Atlantic for example: a successful entrepreneur and one of many persons not only with a knack for knowing how to make things happen but who is always on a quest for making his life the best life possible.
Thanks to www.biography. com for offering a synopsis of his bio here:
“Born on July 18, 1950, in Surrey, England, Richard Branson struggled in school and dropped out at age 16—a decision that ultimately lead to the creation of Virgin Records. His entrepreneurial projects started in the music industry and expanded into other sectors making Branson a billionaire. His Virgin Group holds more than 200 companies, including the recent Virgin Galactic, a space-tourism company. Branson is also known for his adventurous spirit and sporting achievements, including crossing oceans in a hot air balloon.” Read more
Whether we are employees, retired, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home moms or dads (is that term even still used today???); whether we are young or old or middle-aged, let’s be on the quest to make this one life we have the best ever … because if Richard Branson can do it then so can we!
Food for Thought
Are you on a quest too? How successful have you been? Do you have any mentors who hold your hand (whether literally or figuratively) just when you need it most? And what do you do to make your life the best it can be? Leave me a comment or two and feel free to share Richard Branson’s words of wisdom with others. Now go out and make it happen 🙂
“Listen, I wish I could tell you it gets better, but it doesn’t get better. You get better.” ~ Joan Rivers
