Life is for Living Every Day

Thoughts on Faith, Family, Love, Laughter & Life

Never Say Never

I never thought I could draw. During my childhood stick men, women and children were my forte. On a good day I could throw in stick trees, cats and dogs standing stiffly in the front of very square boring houses. As the Doodle Queen I couldn’t wait to drop Art for another subject so my overall average would look a little better at the end of each semester.

But now, lo and behold, I can draw cartoon characters easy peasy Japanesy! Thanks to Graham Shaw’s TEDx Hull presentation “Why people believe they can’t draw – and how to prove they can” I will never say never again; try it out and see for yourself  🙂

In the meantime, let’s see how we can apply this principle as we move forward in life. Google is our best friend aka everything is life is indeed possible!

  1. I draw amazing stick people.

  2. So amazing, Gale. I’m going to save this and have a go. It looks like lots of fun. 🙂

  3. Positivity! Lovely and uplifting – we are limited by our own beliefs and perceptions. Thank you for passing this on – have a wonderful week.

  4. How interesting. I have always said that I can’t draw too!
