Life is for Living Every Day

Thoughts on Faith, Family, Love, Laughter & Life

Please don’t make me read your mind!

I think, I write, I post. Some days I get a like or two or three; most days not more than 10.  It’s not very encouraging at all but I press on because I am encouraged by those brave enough to leave me a note to a post.

I LOVE getting comments and hearing from you but admit these instances are few and very far between. Then I found myself wondering: am I any good at commenting myself? Am I being honest and offering a worthwhile thought? Will the blogger be encouraged or smile at my words as their heart is warmed?  Hmmmm ….

Well, I found this post really helpful and hope you do too if commenting is not really your thing.  May you be spurred on in your blogging journey to leave me some love from time to time via your words; I’ll be looking out for them for sure!

  1. Good question. Most times it depends on where I am when I am doing my reading. If I have time to comment…I do. 🙂

  2. I find the same thing. I have made good friends through my blog, but not a lot of them. Somedays I wonder why I bother writing – I could just keep my journals. But. . . I do enjoy the friendships I’ve made. I don’t know how to increase the involvement of my supposed readers. I have over 700 followers, but only hear consistently from about 15 to 20 people. It’s so frustrating! I don’t know who these other people are – they never do anything to indicate they’re actually reading my blog. I’ve given up going out to their blogs. I have better ways to spend my time.

  3. Hi Gale,
Being a new blogger, I too, thought the same thing. Sometimes we just need a little lovin’. I may have to reblog it for myself 🙂
