I love love love love making lists! It’s bad. I make a list about everything – from the order in which I need to run errands to the groceries to pick up from the supermarket to work projects to personal stuff. I absolutely cannot function unless it’s written down somewhere. And oh the immense joy of being able to tick those pesky items off … indescribable!
But seriously, a list can keep you organised and really help when you have a bad memory. I gave up trying to contain random thoughts and important things within the walls of my poor tiny brain a long time ago because I was failing so miserably. You may not be able to relate now, but let me assure you: as you get older you will NOT be able to live/function without making that list!
All that being said, I am sure my love of lists is the main reason I related to this particular article entitled “10 Things To Do Every Workday” by J.T. O’Donnell on Linkedin which speaks to taking your To Do list to a different level. The focus is career based yes, but just think of even 5 things you could do every day on a personal level which would make so much difference in your life.
I am getting started right now, but what are your personal Fab Five? Are there people you need to touch base with? A quote or thought you have been meaning to share? Flowers or a card to be sent? A book to be read? A movie to be watched? Photos to be posted on your blog that you just know will brighten someone’s day? Well hey, let’s do this together! Start putting some items on your list today and don’t forget to share the final masterpiece with us 🙂
