Life is for Living Every Day

Today, God says …

Today God says, there is hope!  Look at what the bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:8: “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair.”  Do I hear an Amen?

It doesn’t matter who’s out to get you, how bad your co-workers are making your life right now, why your spouse isn’t living up to your expectations, the amount of bills you may be struggling to pay, the endless arguments you suffer through with your teenaged children … the list is endless but life happens and in the midst of this ‘life’ is a wonderful and amazing God who loves us like no other.

Let’s not feel crushed; let’s release those feelings of despair and move forward with God to the other side of the valley where even more of His awesome blessings are waiting for us 🙂

And in the meantime you can do like I am doing while I am in St. Vincent this week on business – and that is to enjoy the magnificent nature which was created to soothe our tired aching minds and offer us a little peace in a sometimes peace-less world.  I encourage you to find a park, find a river or lake, find some nice green grass under a tree and just sit quietly, so quietly that the peace of God which passeth all understanding can flow all around you, over you, and through you.

PS: I promise to take more photos tomorrow when it’s nice and bright instead of at dusk time when everything looks rather … well dusky and dim even with a flash but even so, have you ever seen a mango tree with sooooo many beautiful pink blossoms?  Wow!  May need to come back at harvest time – smile.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????The beauty of St Vincent???????????????????????????????
